Hello and greetings from Livingston Montana!  This was our mellowest day but a major travel day.  We went from Rapid City SD to Livingston MT which was about 450 miles and a whole lot of big skies and open fields.  We took the 212 to the I-90 and at the intersection of those two was the location of the Battle of Little Bighorn and while we decided not to go to the battlefield, we did stop there to have lunch.

We arrived at our destination about 3:30p which was a nice change from rolling in around 6:30p + and so that meant we had a chance to walk around the town. The town is a combo of artistic meets old school and it's just really cool.

We ultimately ducked in to have a glass of wine and then went off to have a wonderful dinner.  2nd Street Bistro. Meg had Stroganov and I had bacon-wrapped meatloaf and we were both very happy.

Tomorrow we are off to drive through Yellowstone and then we're thinking we'll try to make it to Jackson Hole.  Who knows?
